What do we do..?

Our media finance facilities range from £50,000 to £500,000 and we are happy to fund start-ups or fledgling businesses.  We also assist funding in acquisitions and Management Buyouts.  Our facilities use the receivable asset of the business as security; this means that we do not look to secure personal assets.

The main differences between using us or using a more traditional bank facility are 1) that we will provide more generous and flexible funding and 2) our facilities grow organically with the business without the need for constant funding limit reviews.  Our charges will normally be the same as the equivalent bank facility. 

Access to client account information is either via a state-of-the-art internet portal or a real person who will answer the phone and who will be happy to talk to you.

Why Media...?

As much as we’d like to say we had a plan, in fact we just fell into media finance almost by accident. We took on our first media client in 2008 which was a new start digital media agency. We knew nothing about the market but we really liked the people setting up the business and luckily they liked us. Their business grew like topsy and our funding lines grew with them.

As the banks began to tighten their lending and other funders saw media as a 'difficult' market, we found that often we were the only funder with an appetite to assist and more media businesses approached us to help. These things tend to snowball and today we have a number of media clients in a variety of sectors and we are actively looking for more.

Along the way we’ve met some great people in, and associated with the industry; accountants, solicitors and even bankers who are both supportive and creative.

What’s different..?

There are two things we do that we like to think make us stand out from the crowd:

Creativity: A word that is perhaps overused in media is sorely lacking in banking. Whereas most funders just ignore media businesses because they are just 'too hard', we look to put together media finance solutions that work for our clients and work for us. There may be some compromises, but we promise to listen and do our best to find a solution.

Care: We work closely with our clients to try and understand how they work and what keeps them awake at night. Our aim is in some way to make their lives easier. Our clients deal with decision-makers and whilst we can’t promise to do everything that they ask, we promise to deliver a 'no' as quickly as we deliver a 'yes'.
